We are a female-fronted, classic rock band. We have recently had some personnel changes, and are a bass player away from playing gigs. We recently had our first gig, but would like to do a little more, once or twice a month. We all have day jobs, so the point is to have some fun, rock some people's faces off, and perhaps make a few bucks along the way. We do mostly covers, but add some originals here and there. Although we mostly do classic rock, we have been known to throw a little of this and a little of that to jazz stuff up a bit. We have laid back personalities but practice hard, and though we dont' expect a virtuoso for a bass player, we DO expect that they come prepared on their parts, not be drunk or high, show up for practices and gigs, etc.
We generally practice once a week in Bridgewater, just south of Harrisonburg. Backup vocals or even lead vocals a definite plus, and would prefer someone who is interested and is familiar with the music that we do. To see if we gel musically and personally, reply to thread with contact info. Thanks!
